As another semester at Chamberlain comes to a close ...

I just finished NR446, Collaborative Healthcare, and NR448, Information Systems for Healthcare. Initially I was nervous about taking two classes at the same time; combined with work and my paramedic stuff, plus trying to NOT neglect my husband, I didn't want to overload myself. Turns out I shouldn't have been worried at all! Collaborative Healthcare was pretty light, as far as assignment content; while there were usually weekly writing assignments, they weren't bad at all. Info Systems had a large paper due in Week 7 that was worth 40% of my grade, but I got a big ol' A on it. :D So I ended up with two A's for this session. The 4.0 lives on! YAY!!!

Next semester is NR449, Evidence-Based Practice. And then after that ... NR450, Capstone! OMG, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! Funny -- the required book for the capstone course is one that I've already read -- Code Green: Money-Driven Hospitals and the Dismantling of Nursing, by Dana Beth Weinstein. Sadly I had just sold it to cash4books.net, mailed it out like the DAY BEFORE I found out I needed it, so I had to buy it again!! LOL. Too funny! I guess I'll keep it this time. :D

How is everyone else doing?? What are you guys taking next?

Congrats! I just finished collaborative health care and evidenced based practice, kept my A's in both so I'm holding onto my 4.0 too! I'm really trying to graduate with a 4.0. I'm taking Economics and the Capstone Spring term A and then I'm done. It looks like you'll be done spring semester as well? Huge congrats on that! I can't believe how fast this has gone by... I'm so glad I did this, it has been so worth it and I really can't say enough about Chamberlain. It is a really good program. Good luck this term!

Yep, I'll be done during the spring semester, but in the second half/session -- I'll finish in June. :) I've really enjoyed Chamberlain as well -- very happy with my choice!

I just finished Transitions and Sociology pretty okay Got A's but really worked at it. It's more like school without going with Chamberlain. Graduating from Excelsior we took test until that Big CPNE can't say which one is worse.

Next, I am taking statistics and health assessment hope it goes well will graduate in October so, I will keep trucking. Congrats on finishing are you on to your MSN or stopping?

Good Luck,

After passing the CPNE, I feel like anything is possible! :D

I'm actually looking at joining the Army Nurse Corps after my BSN. Once I'm in, as long as all goes well, I'll look at getting into some kind of Master program when I'm eligible to do that.

I'm on to graduate school for my MSN-Family psych NP then plan on going for the DNP and ultimately I'd like to go law school, my SO is an attorney and is supportive. I have always wanted to go. So we shall see what the future brings.

I will be taking Evidence based practice and Health Assessments and then the capstone. I will be happy to be done too. Yet, this year has flown by with school, working and family life. After EC, GA board problems and then Chamberlain, I am done with school for a while.

See ya in the threads.....

Lunah,

I think I told you on FB but I've added a second class for Session B. I will be taking NR442 & NR449. The advisor has set me up for the Summer sessions as well. I will graduate the end of October :-)
