Members are discussing their experiences with job interviews and hiring processes at a specific hospital. Some have received job offers for different units, while others are still waiting for a call back. There is also mention of disappointment and confusion about not being chosen for positions despite qualifications and proximity to the hospital.
Hi everyone! Arrowhead Regional Medical Center just opened their new grad nurse program for applications. It will close in January or if they receive 300 applications. We can keep each other updated here!

The bands are based on a scoring system. The scoring system is based on the additional questions that were asked in the application, like if you have EMT experience, GPA, and acute hospital experience. According to some nurses I know that have gone through the new grad at Arrowhead, Band 2 is the highest band you can be in if you were not a student nurse at Arrowhead prior to applying. You can still be invited to the hiring event being in band 2, but it is up to the units you applied for to invite you.

Hi! I also applied for this round and was told by the recruiter that they will let you know 2-3 weeks after apps closed about interviews.
