Out-of-State New Grad Nursing Tips

  1. Hey! I recently moved to the area from South Dakota and I was wondering if anyone had any tips regarding getting a job as a new grad (BSN) from out of state?
    Thank you in advance!

How long did the application process take with Banner? I recently submitted an application and have not heard back yet?

It took a awhile for me personally I applied mid March, I think they got back to me about a month later Mid April, then I just had an interview last week. I've heard of people though who submit applications and hear back the next day though, so I'm sure you'll hear something soon!
I'm working in Tucson, so it may be easier to look for jobs in that area! I've heard it's more difficult in Phoenix for out-of-state new grads

I would say biggest thing is to just check online job postings everyday! I know especially honorhealth will post new grad positions and they will be gone within 24 hours!
