  1. Hey guy, I'm a new graduate with LPN/LVN license looking forward to relocate by December. I have two option to choose Arizona or TX . I really what to know how much they start LPN/LVN's with. Possibility of going back to school, e.g. is their a waiting list 4 their nursing program, advice on schools to look into , what the cost of leaving, job opportunity , help, help, help help, don't what to make the wrong choice

    All of your questions are answered if you read through this Arizona nursing forum. Unless you like working in LTC, your possibilities here are greatly limited. Waiting list - why, yes. Cost of living = high. job opportunity - not great for LPNs. Don't know any pay ranges

    I had several friends who were LPNs in El Paso, TX that were making $25/hour in nursing homes. They couldn't make that kind of money outside the nursing homes, but there were tons of jobs at the nursing homes.
