I took the Nclex on Sunday, I did the Pearson vue trick and I got the bad "pop-up" however 2 days later I paid to get quick results and status says "pass" but my name doesn't appear listed at the BON website. Since I got the bad pop-up I don't want to get too excited until I see my name listed or get my results! I live in NYC does anyone knows how long it takes!! Thank You!!!

Quick results are accurate. BoN will take a few days to a few weeks to post your license. Monday was a holiday. Be glad you are not in NJ as it takes 4-8 weeks for a license to post

Quick Results are TOTALLY accurate on if you passed the test. The BONs are different in each state. SOme take weeks, others take hours, some wait until you pass to go over all the background check stuff, some do it all before they send your ATT.
Congratulations, you passed!! My BON took a week and a half to post. As Justbeachy said NJ takes a month or two. The BON may be understaffed, too darned busy, taking care of other licenses besides nurses (in my state they do ALL professional licenses, including things like CPA and veterinarians), so it isn't usually anything to worry about. As for getting the "bad popup" everyone gets that now, the trick is dead!
Go celebrate, RN!

I haven't gotten the good popup (I'm from TX) and I've been freaking out so your post gives me hope!

Agreed, if Pearson says you passed, you passed! The rest depends on how fast your state will post your license. Just check your application status and make sure all the paperwork that you need is turned in! I know a few people that have been held up because they forgot a single piece of paper.
Thank You so much!!! I told ld everybody I failed and I haven't told anybody about the quick results because I didn't know if was reliable!!! My famy is going to be so happy when I tell them!! Happy meee :) :)
Great Florceniceros!!Update when you get your results!!
Thanks so much!! Do you know how I check the status of my application? I googled it many times and it just keep sending me to the license verification page.

There is no longer a 'good popup' or a 'bad popup' (please read other threads on this forum); the PVT is no longer a trick anyone should use. At one time it was semi-reliable, now it's not reliable at all.
Pay for QR if your state has it, or hang tight and wait for official results from BON.

OP: you took the NCLEX after the site update which gave us the "new" PVT. I'm reasonably certain that the PVT is just as accurate as the old one was, but the big difference is that everyone has to put in their credit card info first and it's only if you pass, your payment of $200 for a new exam is intercepted and halted. Quick results are accurate.
It just takes a while for various Boards to update their records. My own License posted within 48 hours, and some classmates of mine had to wait about a week or so for theirs to show up. If your QR says "Pass" then relax and you'll see your license numbers show up when it's all ready for prime time!
Congrats!

Keep in mind the Pearson trick actually changed. You have to add your credit card info then press submit. If you get a red triangle and it says "you cannot schedule your exam at this time" or something like that then you passed. However if your credit card gets charged you failed. In other words, the old Pearson trick does not work anymore because Pearson fixed the glitch. Regardless, you already paid for the quick results. If it says you passed then Congrats! You passed :)
