Hi all,
I'm debating between two online schools to take a chem course in for my prereqs (the nursing school confirmed the chemistry does not need a lab and online is acceptable).
Edukan and OSU seem to both have good courses, Edukan being a bit cheaper. When it comes to online classes are some considered more prestigious than others? Does it not matter as long as it's accredited?

From personal experience (and this is my own opinion), as long as the school is accredited and the courses transfer over appropriately, it doesn't matter where they are taken. Good luck!!

I hope that is not a real question. No, not all schools are equal. TV shows do not depict reality. People lie. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet (reference;

I think with online learning, it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, you're teaching yourself. I took classes with Edukan and I thought I had a good experience with them.
While I agree with your statement that not all schools are equal, the original post was referring to EduKan vs OSU...I am not too sure what you are referring to when you say TV shows do not depict reality...but I Have actually taken classes at both EduKan and OSU (Oregon, not Ohio). EduKan is actually a consortium of numerous Kansas community colleges, so it is fully accredited, most credits will transfer to other places, its super affordable, etc. I took pre-reqs at both and have nothing but good to say.
