Are online LPN to RN programs OK?

hi everyone. i tried this on the lpn-rn thread with no replies. i still have about 6-7 months to finish my lpn at a local college, but i am wondering about how well i could do by going directly to online for my rn. it seems that our local school has some problems and is working out some kinks. they say that correcting the problems will take time. can a person get a decent rn education online? do you do clinicals on the weekend? does anyone have any suggestions? thank you
