April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Published

Per the request of janina08 ;) I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :) :nurse:

You will do fine... take a breather.. go for a walk... I feel like there is NOT enough time to get all this info down, and I just have to chill some.. try reading a book on strategies or test succes to help break the questions down some...... I just was hopeing to have a dozne or so index cards to memorize by now, still havent got those done... just got into doing questions, and now feel like they are a jumble in my head..... sigh.

you may have to contact her on a pm and first read the top part of this forum it should say sticky to suzannes plan hope it helps

Ok so go to the first page and search it.,.. i will try that i have to see a msg from suzanne to pm her? Thanks by the way....

April 29thcannot get here soon enough!

Aimless signed up for April 29th in Alaska..

Suzannes plan has steps, i am doing step 2 now, and step 2 according to her instructions takes 45days, its not something u can do in a jiffy:nono:

yes i agree..kaplan is close to nclex questions in delegating ....i have basic questions too..not a good sign...maybe even if i did good into basic questions...i dont know... ...i'll see in 2 days time...f i dont see my name then i failed..

i am tired of reading, i dont have the enthusiasm anymore yet i m testing in 10 days time, i dont know what to do again

Take a break for a day or two, go shopping, a movie, outdoor rec activities....

You're getting overwhelmed and maybe your brain/memory needs some rest.

I would also take a few hr breaks btwn my studying and do something enjoyable, as a reward(icecream, movie....) or as incentive to keep studying my butt off.

Same here, Rose. :crying2: There were some questions that were so obvious to me, and that's never a good sign. I didn't have any OB, no cardiac, barely any neuro, some GI, lots of endocrine, and oncology. *sigh* This sucks. :bluecry1:

You know, one thing I can say, though is that Kaplan is veeeeeeeeeery close to the NCLEX questions. It was the same as the Hesi I took in nursing school, though. To be honest, I don't even want to check my results.

To the future NCLEX test takers this month, good luck! Definitely, DEFINITELY know infection control and how to prioritize.

I recommend the Mosby priority, delegation book...

During my test the very 2nd questions was a SATA and it seemed as if those would not stop, I got a few fill in the blanks and arranging things in order. I ordered the 250 new format questions book at the library to practice but it arrived the day after I tested.

Have faith guys! I am still praying for you guys!:nurse:

I wanna open my book but :no::no:, okay breathe, breathe, breathe some more:zzzzz
