Hey! I'm looking for advise, I've got a million questions about about how to apply for Collin College TX, but I'll start slowly! :)
I understand the first step is to take the TSI. Last year I took it, I didn't do so well at Math, they told me to take some classes but meanwhile I got pregnant, moved, etc... I decided to postpone it. So here I am again.
for anybody who's been through this process before, or anyone that knows the answers I would appreciate very much your help!
1) How long does it take to finish the pre requisite courses?
2) do I apply for those classes alone or along with the nursing degree?
3) about the TSI, if I fail math again, how long would it take me to finish the additional math classes and could I do at the same time I'm taking the pre required courses?
Thank you so much for the help in advance, I'm sorry if im asking things that should be obvious, I just don't know the sequence of steps I need to take !!

Hi there! I can't answer your questions about the tsi stuff but the pre-req's aren't too bad and should take you less than a year. I had a previous degree so at least a few classes I had already taken counted toward the pre-reqs. You can just sign up and take them like regular classes. Applying to the ADN program is completely separate.
Besides that, the psb is the entrance exam required and while I thought the content wasn't too hard, the short time limits were very nerve wracking!! So just be prepared to speed read lol.
If you search "Collin College ADN" on allnurses, you'll find the thread about applying for spring 2015 that helps break down the new point system so that might be helpful to look thru too.
Best of luck to you!
