how to apply as Graduate nurse, am international graduate anyone here?

am a foreign graduate nurse, I applied a licensure in Florida... Is anyone here knows how to apply as GN before taking NCLEX? ty

to be concidered for a GN position anywhere in FL, you have to have graduated from a FL accredited nursing school.

you can't be a grad from another country.

to work you have to have your license already.

Hi tagutab,

The best way is go to a hospital and talk to a human resource person,and site your qualifications.Sometimes there are positions that you can get but of course not a GN.I am not sure if the reason is because you are not a graduate of florida nursing sch.But if you can just wait and have your license after taking the exam, before considering a hospital job, the better! You have more time to focus on your exam.

I am also an international graduate, but have'nt considered applying as GN here in Florida.Are you from the Phil.?

anyway i just concentrate on my review to get the license.

No, am not an RN yet.I failed once.Hoping to retake soon.I just do self review and finishing my 4th ed Saunder's,then will consider suzzane's program here.
