Hello, all. I am board certified NP and I have my furnishing license in CA. I am job hunting and am wondering if I should apply for my DEA already? I have seen MANY jobs that require a DEA already.

However, I have also read online that you can only apply for a DEA with your home address for 60 days before you have to switch over the address to the place of practice. I am worried I won't make the 60-day mark. Does anyone have any experience with this? TIA!

This is a state-specific question.  The DEA won't look at you until you get your state Controlled Substance license - what is the requirement for that?
