Published

I did it. I signed up for AP1 for fall. However the only time I could get into with my work schedule is a saturday class...from 9-4. I am freaking out already....How do I handle all that info one day a week...anyone ever taken this class this way? [EVIL][/EVIL]

It will be hard, but you can do it. Be sure not to miss a class, but getting behind is no fun! Spread out your study time.

Good luck!

I just got my final grade in anatomy 101. I GOT AN A!!! It can be done. Here is what you need to do. Buy your book NOW. Start learning all of the bones and muscles. You will be far ahead of anyone in the class except for the repeating students. I swear this is what saved me. Then get flash cards, have your kids or friends quiz you over them. Learn all of the systems. My favorite was SEND IN MR URIC L --gives you all the first letters of the systems. This will help you. s=skeletal, e=endocrine, n=nervous. There are many ways to remember this info. I am here if you need help. I hope someone can help me with anatomy and physiology part II.

Thanks. I am getting my book Saturday and am going to start reading and memorizing. Thankfully my mom is a nurse so I am hoping she can help...(that will probably end up in us driving each other crazy)!!!!

Congrats on the A. Thats Awesome!

I did that for A&P I, A&P II, and microbiology. Our classes were scheduled for 9:00-2:30. For A&P we actually usually left early, between noon and 1:00, though I wouldn't count on that for your school/instructor. I didn't find it to be too much information and I actually preferred the longer block of instruction. The hardest part was giving up such a big chunk of my free time on the weekends: no getaways, hard to have people come visit, had to miss out on lots of Friday night activities. But I just reminded myself that it wouldn't be like that forever and the semesters usually flew by. I'm not sure what else you might be looking for for advice, but if you have any questions feel free to ask.
