Anyone working remotely abroad?

Hi all, I appreciate any insight or resource recommendations. I have been a primary care NP for almost 6 years now. I am now seriously considering a remote position to give me some flexibility to explore living in different states... or countries? Anyone with any experience working for a US company abroad doing remote (or not) work aside from the Department of State? Curious to know first if it is possible to work remotely for example for a health tech startup type company and do that outside of the states. I understand the NP role is fuzzy to nonexistent in other countries but wondering if working for a US based country would work. If this dream is not possible, will stay stateside.
