The only place untouched or haven’t worked since returning back to California has been corrections like the prison or county jails. Saw some serious come on sign on bonus with benefits and exaggerated rates of pay. I’m curious if anyone presently has any insight as to how everyday life is working for these places in California we have a big population of them and it’s job security, retirement, all the above. Previous experience was in Arizona working at Tent City though that was when Sheriiff Arpio was in charge and he ran the jails making the prisoners live outside in the heat and wear pink underwear since been pardoned by President Trump and works now for homeland security so I know things have changed and I’m sure it’s ran different unsure how so in CA

Im guessing they don't offer huge bonus payouts because they see life in pink over there ? it's probably not an easy environment and Im guessing it can become hellish real quick. Id slso assume they don't have a lot wiggle room when it comes to schedules and vacation time..However I have also been told by guards that nurses are very well paid with great benefits.
