Anyone work at Kaiser and transfered to another Kaiser?

Hello RNs working at Kaiser. I currently work at a Kaiser hospital and love it. I want to stay with the company!!! I was just wondering if you guys had any experience with transferring between other Kaiser Facility. I am planning to do this, however I am coming from another region. I am currently in Hawaii wanting to transfer to Southern CA. Hawaii HR said that I have the ability to view and apply for internal listing at any facility and region due to my employee number/access, but as far as hiring I am considered an external applicant until the nurse manager decides to hire me then I am a internal transfer. Does that make sense? Did anyone had this experience? Well thanks in advance guys for helping!
