Anyone work for Baycare in the Tampa/Clearwater area?

Published

I'm a pre-nursing student and I am looking to get my foot in the door and have heard great things about this company. I've applied to several positions over the internet using their website and was wondering if it's the only way to apply, and how long it takes to hear back from them. I've heard a lot of places nowadays only accept applications online and it can take weeks to hear back. Also, do you like working for this company?

Thanks!

I worked for them at one time. It takes a long time to hear back from them. I was in the CCU/CSU open heart unit. The pay is pretty low, but not bad if you do the contracts that they have. When I was there they were paying $35/hr with a $3,000 bonus every 3 months. But I believe that they took the bonus away. They have a pretty good system as far as patient safety goes. It would be a good place for you to learn.
