Just wondering if anyone has tried the Allied Health Instute online PCT course? I already work as a PCT, however I feel I could use more trainning personally. Besides online learning they require Clinicals. After being done with the course there suppose to be alot of Certifications to. I don`t believe any of them are state Certifications though.
National Certified Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT)
National Certified ECG Technician (NCET)
Nationally Registered title of Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NRCPT)
Nationally Registered title of Certified EKG Technician (NRCEKG)
Personally I also like the idea of being certified as Phlebotomy. Thought of taking the locally community college course. Its an additional $3500 to get certified. Here is the link to it http://www.alliedhealthinstitute.edu/online_training_courses/patient_care_technician/
Do any of these certification actually mean anything? Or is it just another online rip off school? I`d appreciate any advice?
NVM found out they no longer have the program atm. They had people applying to it. However, you have to be a CNA before you can join the program. You would think they would mention that under requirements. Then they tried to redirect me to their MA program.

I would not try to take anything like that online. I know some nursing class's are offered online. But something like seems to me that it is something that should be done in person.
