Hey. Im taking the NET this saturday and I was just wondering who has taken it and how did it go? Was it easy/hard? Im thinking about going to buy the study guide today..is it worth the money? If anyone could help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks and have a great day!

I took it around this time last year and passed. The class I was wanting (part-time) I didn't get in for my score was not high enough..but i did pass and that thrilled me for I didn't think I could do it. If I could of went to the full time class I could of got in. I've decided to do the full time this year. I'm retaking the NET Prep class that is offered at the local Vo-Tech school again. Accorrding to my book there are seven sections to the NET test.
1. Essential Math Skills
2. Social Interaction
3.Stress Level Profile
4. Learning Style
5.Reading Comprehension
6.Reading Rate
7. Testaking Skills.
From what I remember it was not as bad as I thought it would be.
I start Jan,10th and the class is 2months long.
Best of Luck on the test!

I found the study guide very helpful. I did the practice exams in the whole book. I think I overstudied on the math because I did great on that part and not so well on the reading portion the first time. I passed the second time with pretty good results. The math was not bad at all. The reading portion seemed a little tricky too me, like reading in between the lines. You should do fine, overall not a bad test. The study quide will help if you have time to buy it still I would recomend it. Good luck to you!!!

I would ABSOLUTLEY recommend the study guide! Not only will it let you know what you need to study but it is set up exactley like the formatted NET test. I studied out of other books as well, but I don't think they prepared me nearly as well as the NET study guide. Best of luck to you!!:balloons:
