Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Heyy all...i was just wondering if anyone has taken the NCSBN review course...ive had one friend who took it after she failed her nclex the 1st time and said it was helpful since nclex q's DO come from NCSBN..but i kinda wanted a little more feedback from others b4 i sign up for it and pay for it....sooo anyone taken it????

hey jaedlove just dropping by for an update I agree with nepalusa about the content being very lengthy... i was suppose to take my test today but I have actually rescheduled to take it on may 12th instead... my subscription ended about 4 days ago so I am going to buy the 3 weeks one this time around....I wont suggest studying much of the content from the site since it is very detailed and can make you feel frustrated but if you are going to buy it use it for the questions they are excellent....i know bc this is going to be my second time taking nclex and the questions on the actual test are formatted the same way so it helps alot.... let me know if you need anything else

HAPPY STUDYING!!!!

hey there! :) which one is lengthy? the kaplan or ncsbn? i haven't been reading lately since it's taking a while for my cgfns to be verified. i'm a foreign grad from the philippines and the verification is taking sooo long. ugh. how's your review going?

Did the OB section from NCSBN.....and RARELY went wrong on another OB question ever again -- on three other online preps that i used - ATI, Hurst AND Kaplan.

it was helpful.....i didnt look at the ncsbn content though...tooo long an dboring but i did their questions for 3 weeks which helped me pass

This is one of the reviews that many people say is helpful.

hi jaedlove sorry for the late update... the ncsbn content is more lengthy... will keep you posted on more

okay. :) thank you so much.

hey jaedlove.... just sending you an update.... I took my NCLEX yesterday.....I would definitely say that the two things that helped me the most were the NCSBN questions and test strategies from Kaplan....I am still waiting for my results but i have tried the PV trick and get a good pop up.... keeping my hopes up... my test shut off at 109....will let you know for sure by tomorrow......happy studying!!!

hey there! :) i'm about to try ncsbn next week. i'm still confused whether i should apply for kaplan or not. did you attend the review for kaplan or did you just purchased their book? anyway, best of luck! i hope you passed! thanks for keeping me posted! God bless. :)

Hey jaedlove I actually found the kaplan strategie book the 2011 one at my local library so i just used that....if you are just starting out studying I would say that to get your content down before you purchase the ncsbn since the content on it is very lenghty and can get you frustrated.....I wold sugesst to purchase the 3 week course after you have covered content to just focus on questions.....by the way i did pass:yeah: its official I am a RN!!!!!!!!!:nurse: good luck to you.....let me know if you have anymore questions
