I am looking to take my some science courses online. I came across BYU, Bringham Young University, and it looks interesting. There is a lab component and it is actually cheaper at $382 than Edukan course I was planning on taking. Has anyone had any experience with BYU's independent study programs?

I have taken several courses through BYU online - both science and non-science. I had a very positive experience with them.

I took nutrition with BYU. Very nice college to deal with. They did not offer any online labs when I was looking so you may want to double check with them.
Good Luck

I took Algebra through BYU and it transferred to UWYO. I thought it was a little hard, but I hadn't taken a math class in a long time.

This is good news for me...I am aiming for UOW from my BSN and have been planning to do my College Algebra and my Physical Fitness/Health through BYU Online. I like that their courses are somewhat selfpaced.
:chuckle Online Physical Fitness sounds fun to me...:chuckle
