I'm looking for a buddy/ies starting around the same time as well. It's been 4 yrs since I left school (UCF), I am really anxious to go back.

I'm considering the school but will start in May. I haven't heard a lot of positive feedback on the Orlando location, have you researched them?

I’m also considering south. I talked the an admissions rep in Orlando and he told me that the pass rate for 2018 was 100%... I hear mix reviews but I want to find a program that will prepare me for boards and a smooth transition into the NP role.

I am also considering south this may 2019 for the online fnp program. I wanna hear more about their program and particularly how we find preceptors on our own.
I ended up choosing ECPI for my FNP and start in May. I did my ABSN there and even though the faculty there will not be teaching the FNP classes, they are well connected in the area and can hopefully help with preceptors.
I did speak with a few that graduated from South and they were not pleased with their experience (but I think you'll see this with any program).

I am currently 1 year into MSN FNP at South University online. I would really advise against this school. I understand you'll get people who are unhappy with every program but this program is terrible. My associates program was a hybrid program and my BSN was completely online so I am no stranger to online course. In South university courses you are not taught anything. The course 'professors' are just facilitators of the class. The online classroom classes are set up by a course 'lead' and if there is errors in the weekly assignments/instructions no changes can be made or corrected. You must be able to read content from the textbooks and teach yourself. The only interaction with your classmates and the course facilitator is via discussion boards. Every single class thus far... yes every single class for a year has had multiple problems with the weekly content assigned not matching what is on the exams. The exams are worth so many points if you do not do well on them you will not pass the course even if you have done well on all the other assignments. The exams in the nursing core classes are proctored through a browser lockdown proctoring program which malfunctions during every exam I've taken. I decided on South because I know people who sucessfully completed the program and they say the current program is very different. Please take my advice and avoid this program
