Any one applying to TCC's new fast track program. Im just curious by looking at the website it says you can complete the program in 18 months.. Whats wrong with this picture? All the other LVN to RN program requires about 12 months. Now this is a program that admits EMT's and paramedics but that still is a long time for a fast track program.... anyone with any info??????

well at least share the information you found, i'm sure you're not the only one interested in it.
If people were interested I would nt be the only one posting on this thread. Any way this is what I found. The program is 18 -24 months from pre-classes to finish. My liberal arts degree is from TCC and I am done with all the pre- Classes so Ill be applying in Jan.

Good luck, Queen. I will be applying to a program around Houston in January. Geeez, I'm ready to get on with the nsg stuff. Hope I get in!
I am down right tired of all this LVN to RN buisness. The programs are so hard to get into here Ive seriously thought about hanging up my nursing hat and doing something else. But i guess that isnt the right thing to do either so I will just keep on keepin on... I wish you luck..
I feel your pain. They scream they need RNs but make it difficult for us to transition. The inconsistancy of the needed pre-req's is what bugs me the most. It should be the same. Total money making operation there.
