Got a letter from them today. Is it ligit?
Thanks in advance!
Editing to tell you what the letter said, lol, that may help, huh?
"You were recently appointed as a biographical candidate into the Manchester Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Nursing and Healthcare, and for inclusion in the upcoming 2005/2006 'Honors Edition' of the Registry.
We are pleased to inform you that on January 13th, your candidacy was approved. Your confirmation for inclusion will be effective within 10 business days, pending our receipt of the enclosed application.
The office of the Managing Director appoints individuals based on a candidate's current position, and usually with information obtained from researched executive and professional listings. The Director thinks that you may make an interesting biographical subject, as individual achievement is what Manchester Who's Who is all about.
Upon final confirmation, you will be listed among thousands of accomplished individuals in the Manchester Who's Who Registry."
What do you think?

I haven't heard of that particular one, but I do know if they are the same company that does the Who's who in american high schools, and who's who in american colleges, they are legit. I'm in both of the ones I mentioned, numerous times, and I have copies of each somewhere.... see if you can find a web site on them... maybe do a google search???
They have a website: www.manchesterwhoswho.com

I got one, too, and immediately threw it in the trash. While I realize I'm fascinating, and have actually written two Dummies books, I'm also fairly sure this is a money making thing. Since it wouldn't be making ME any money, I tossed it.
Lol. Do you know how they got your name? I'm thinking because I'm an SNA delegate. Or maybe a professor gave them my name - I'm our class facilitator. I don't know...
No idea, but I do remember getting stuff like this in the past, even before I was famous (I wish!) for writing a few books and being fairly well known on certain infertility chat boards.
Sorry, thought you were a student...
If I were you, I'd send my info in, so that I could include that in resume's that I was included, but not purchase anything..... This sort of thing looks good to employers for some reason
