I am doing the Kaplan Q-bank as my online questions resource. I have found it much easier to do the online questions, vs doing questions from a book..
My question is this....It gives you a percent of how many you got right. I am wondering what is really passing for these tests compared to how you will do on the NCLEX?
For example, some tests I am getting in the 70's, and some tests I am getting in the 50's. I know, no real consistency there...
I have heard to just keep doing question after question, and I am going to keep doing that. Was just wondering where I am at in terms of chances of passing the NCLEX...

Kaplan says that getting 65% on there tests puts you in a good place to pass the nclex.

I did the Kaplan question trainer. If nothing else, the fact that I scored > 65% on each one made me less anxious to take the NCLEX. In hindsight, the difficulty level of the Kaplan questions prepared me for some of the hard questions of the NCLEX. I wasn't a huge fan of the Kaplan course, but I found the question trainer to be very helpful.
I wasnt a big fan of Kaplan either. I am sure for some people that it was great, and really helped them.
I have been doing the Q-bank, and have done about 50% of those questions so far. I am going to start doing the trainer tomorrow.
