Anyone going to San Antonio College or any of the Alamo Colleges, for Pre-reques or Nursing Program?? If so which pre-reques did you find to be the hardest? and if you got in to the Nursing Program without having to be on the waiting list with how many points did you enter and what did you get on your HESI (A2) exams, Thanks in advanced.... Any comments are welcomed though...... *^_^*

San Antonio College doesn't require an entrance exam. I would say the hardest class was chemistry. I studied pretty hard and still fell short of an A. it was an 87 to be exact :( Bummer. Anyways Everything else wasn't too bad. I am currently in Micro and I LOVE it. Most of the people I have spoken to said it would be the one class that brought down my GPA.

As for getting into the program. I just applied to the Program for the spring so I don't know yet. I did get into Baptist though for the Fall or 2013. You have to have about 6 points to be competitive. The nursing counselor at SAC said its an A & B program. If you have more that 2 C's you don't have a great chance but its not impossible. It really depends on the group applying for that particular semester.....Hope this helps....

I took CHEM 1405 for the 5-week summer semester it was alright got a B, and am taking micro this fall with A&P-1, A&P-2, and ethics!!!! Wish me luck and I am sooooo GLAD to know someone else from SAC is on here...... YAAAY!!! *^_^*

I'm going to accd. I completed my LVN in 2011, at SPC. I just completed the RN prerequisites & applied to hopefully start this spring, at SAC.

My best advice is to go full time and don't take breaks. Yes, take summer courses. You'll finish faster. Good luck.
