Anyone get in at Kennesaw State?

Kennesaw is my #1 choice. I've applied to 6 I think for next year with a 7th application in the works LOL. I don't want to take any chances that I'll have to sit out a year! Out of all of the schools I've applied to though I really ONLY want to go to Kennesaw. If anyone has gotten in to their regular (non-accelerated) program and wouldn't mind sharing your GPA, TEAS, Science GPA, or other stats I'd really appreciate it!

My cumulative GPA is around 3.4 (due to a really bad 1st semester of college over a decade ago) but my adjusted GPA is around 3.7. My science GPA is 4.0. I've maintained a 4.0 for a while now. Out of the pre-reqs I have:

Chem 1151 and Lab- A's

Anatomy 1 and Lab- A's

Psychology 1101- A

English 1101- A

English 1102- A

Sociology 2105- A

Math 1101- C

Math 1107 (stats)- B

I am currently taking Microbiology and I am registered to take Anatomy 2 and Developmental psychology in the fall.

Does Kennesaw use a math/science GPA or a science GPA? I hope the good grades in science will overshadow my math grades. My TEAS was 80.6. I am planning to retake it though. I did MUCH better on the NET for some reason. Too bad they won't take THAT score LOL!

Those are my stats. I am applying at the end of this summer semester. What do you think my chances are?

I am currently in the KSU accelerated program and I would say with your educational stats you should have no problem getting into the program. Good luck!

Thank you so much! Since that post I have retaken the TEAS and finished Microbiology. I got an 84.7 on the TEAS and got an A in my micro class. Hopefully that will do the trick! I am hoping to get an interview letter any day now... Wish me luck! I applied for Summer entrance.

I want to say that they do the interviews for Summer sometime in January or February. I started in Spring of 2009 and I received my interview letter in late July for a September interview. I'm not sure when they send those out though. Good luck!

I spoke to them today and she said letter will go out end of next week for summer 2010 interviews and acceptances would be in before Thanksgiving!

oh no! here I go again...I hope I atleast get an interview! But Robin, I have a friend that did get in, and her GPA and TEAS and everything was lower than yours, so I honestly, seriously, without a doubt think that you will get accepted! You have a 4.0 on your sciences, and Fran told me that is what they look for. I have a 2.73!! (on my sciences) no wonder I didn't get in! I think that I am going to retake my A and P 2, b/c I made B's in my Chem classes. But anyways, I am certain you will get accepted! Your grades are great, and in the interview they will see that you are a great person. lemme know when u get a letter. I really hope I get another interview!!!
