Stella_Blue Specializes in Emergency Nursing. Jul 26, 2014 Well I do know that they are 1 of 2 children trauma centers in Indiana, so I assume their NICU is pretty good. The only downfall about working in Fort Wayne is the very low pay. Im further south and make almost as much as a LPN than new hire RN's there. I recently just graduated with my RN and was considering Lutheran only because they are a trauma center, which is where I want to be. 0 Likes
