Hello, I am currently a CNA trying to further my education like everyone in the medical field ... However I am in search of a really good school for LVN. I was thinking of ROP since it is way cheaper however the only one near me is in Baldy View in Ontario, CA but it does not start until July '12.. And also I went last year to register and get a testing date and they sent the rest of us home for the day because it was too full .. Some people told me they arrived @ 4AM!!! Anyway needless to say I didn't return which I felt was a huge mistake but oh well what can I do now? I don't want to wait until July, so I called American Career College in Ontario.. they have one coming up very soon(by July '12 I will almost be finished). I am somewhat impatient and I just want to hurry and finish!! CNA is not something I can see myself doing any further... I only took the course so that I can become familiar with the medical field...So at ACC I took the HESI and passed :yeah:The program is $34,110 and I am thinking of taking the Full time.. 8am-5pm for 13 months... I haven't started my financial aid just yet...So while leaving I passed a school that had a banner saying "Now Enrolling for Vocational Nursing" so I took the number down and called. The school is called Franklin Career College... it is accredited and the program cost is $28,000 (a little cheaper than ACC) and the program length is 12 months. I have never heard of this school but I do recall seeing it in the pennysaver a while back. I don't see any reviews of the school anywhere which is weird ... So is there anyone out there from Southern California who has heard of this school or have attended, or knows someone who has?
