Anyone fail Nursing School and start again at a different school? Or am I the only one?

I totally failed out of my second semester of nursing school and I am unable to apply for readmission. I am sad that I didn't make it grade wise and this failure has totally destroyed my confidence, but I am determined to be a nurse no matter what. It has always been my dream. Even though I don't plan on giving up, just thinking about the way I was failed basically traumatized me. I don't mean to be dramatic, but even as I am typing this I can't help, but tear up a little. I just want to know if there are people out there that have been through the same thing as me and still made it and became a nurse. I just need a little bit of hope.

I had a peer student who failed in the last semester and had to start all over again. He decided to go to the same school and he made it through the second time... so it is possible!

Nursing school is not easy. Keep plugging away and stay focused.
