Anyone else worried???

Published

Now, for the last 3 months, I felt pretty good about getting accepted into CSN. Now, I am soooo worried that I won't get in. I made a 115 on the PAX and I have all my pre reqs done. I just read that it is really competitive to get in and now I feel like my PAX score and grades just won't be good enough. :o I'm even thinking of applying for the LPN program down here just incase. I just don't know. :uhoh21:

Anyone else in the same boat???

i feel your pain i have been so worried lately. i have been looking into my options if i don't get in. the waiting is killing me

i have a friend who made lower than 115 on the PAX and she got in for the fall semester and i've heard of others getting in that barely made above the 100. so your score is pretty good. i know the wait it tough though. good luck.

Thanks for the comment. You've eased my mind a bit!! I'm just going to keep my mind off of it and wait patiently for THE LETTER. Like I have any other choice. ;)

Hi everyone,

I am wondering when do we find out if we made it into charity for spring 08? I took the pax in January and got a 138 but they said because I wouldnt have 24 credits at the time of the decision of admissions they would have to use my act scores as a factor. I am worried because I only got a 20 on the act which was 4 years ago.

we find out in June, i think by June 30 to be exact.

Specializes in ICU.

I have known people to get in with 101s. As long as you have 100 or above, I wouldn't be worried.

I'm also waiting to find out about CSN admission for spring '08. I am a little worried about not having enough money saved up. Have you all heard of anyone who actually pushed their start date to the next semester if they couldn't begin at the time they actually applied for?

I do not think it is a good idea to push your start date only b/c if you are in you need to keep your spot b/c there may not be a spot for you the next semester. I just would not chance it!! Good luckicon7.gif

Um, I got accepted to University of Louisiana-Lafayette's nursing program, but I never heard that I had to take this. Should I be worried? I looked at all the requirements, and the letter they sent me never said anything about it...
