Is there anyone out there applying for Fall admission to Ivy Tech Bloomington or Columbus?? Looking for someone else to 'be patient' with Yeah right - being patient is definitely NOT something I'm good at.

Good luck! I have a friend that goes to Columbus. Initially she was on the wait list, but still got in. She loves it, but it is (of course) difficult!

Hi !! I am wanting to apply for Fall admission too-- but at Ivy Tech In Indy. I am 35 and this will be my first college experience. I am going to go to an information session on Wed., Feb 15. I'm so nervous already !! I'm curious, what you do mean by "the letter" with those two locations listed? Have you done your pre-reqs and are waiting to get into the nursing program? Since I'm new to this whole thing I don't know what exactly to expect. What has been your experience ? Anyway, good luck!!
Hey there! Well, good luck to you at Indy!! The informational meeting will explain a lot - I hope. I have gone to two different campuses and one was better than the other at explaining things so if afterwards you still feel lost, just pm me and I will see if I can fill in the holes. Yes, my pre-reqs are complete as of December. I have a 4.0 and got an 89 on my 2nd time with the TEAS. So, out of the available 276 admission points, I have 265. Not bad. So, I am waiting to hear from both campuses as to whether I am admitted to the nursing program. To pass the time, I'm enrolled in an on-line Soc class, which I don't really like, and Abnormal Psych, which I LOVE!
My experience in a nutshell - it's hard, but worth it! It is a highly competitive area so you must put your best foot forward and work your tail off. BUT - in the end, you will be so proud of yourself and so will your family.
Like I said, if you have any questions after your meeting tomorrow, please don't hesitate to pm or email me and I will try to help fill in any blanks.
Congratulations on taking a step towards a brighter future!!
