I took a look at my transcripts and thought 'this does not look impressive.' I've got a 3.2 GPA and take myself to be just average. I've got a couple of W's. I've checked out the point system for acceptance. I take my TEAS in 2 weeks, hopefully I do well. I really hope I get into Charity but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. Anybody get accepted into Charity that thought that they might not? I'm starting to feel the anxiety already! 0 Likes
kdg101006 10 Posts Sep 12, 2009 Hey, its normal to feel that way, that maybe your teas score and gpa will not be good enough for Charity. But I got accepted and I start January 2010 and that was my second time applying.Ok you know that whatever semester that you applying for Charity looks at your gpa from the year before. So if ur applying for Fall 2010, your grades from Fall 09 and Spring 2010 will not count. But you may get accepted on that first try!!! Just keep your grades up and you will get in!!!! :) 0 Likes
scared88 63 Posts Apr 17, 2011 I applied to both LSUHSC and Charity...while I haven't heard back from Charity yet, I indeed got into LSUHSC with a 3.0!!! I was HYSTERICAL! So, I sent in my $50 and confirmation form so they'll hold my seat there. Don't give up! 0 Likes
