valair55 Specializes in Psych, Geriatrics, Oncology. Apr 4, 2009 Hello, I am in the Gero-Psych NP progam at USA. I am doing a dual role of GNP/APNP. I know they just changed their PMHNP requirements to Family instead of adult or family. These are the new regulations for all PMNNP programs. It covers adolescent psych as well. Well, truthfully I love my program and USA. The faculty are great and very helpful. The only problem is finding preceptors in your home town. They have quite a few clinical affiliations though.
