anyone attending or graduated from Merritt community college?

Hi all,

New here and to nursing. Looking to get into Merritt community college. Close and the price is appealing..

Is this the only school in the area for an ADN? I'm also new to California and am trying to get my bearings..

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

There are many adn programs in the bay area, but they are all very competitive. This website has a list of California's adn programs, many are in Northern California. It just depends on how far you are willing to commute. http://www2.canyons.edu/host/adn/ca_adn_programs.html

Unfortunately California is a very difficult state when it comes to getting into nursing school. I have been trying for a few years, and finally decided to apply out of state. I am moving to Denver to get my BSN in April. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply.. Yeah, i've been hearing how difficult it is here. Can you tell me anything that you learned along the way that might help me? I'm sorry you have to move to Denver but it's a great place to live. Is it more difficult to get into a bachelor's program than an associate?
