Hello, I went to HCC and applied to TWU in May of last year. The nursing school is seperate, so you do have to apply to both. You apply to Denton then to the nursing school in Houston. (you can apply for both at the same time) I was accepted in November and took the NET in December. If you have grades pending, it's no big deal. They just wait until your grades are posted before giving you credit for those classes. I was core complete and had no problems, but I do know of a few who had classes pending and still took the NET. Hope this helps. By the way, TWU is an awesome school!
Hey. Congrats on getting accepted!! What was your gpa?
I had a 3.7 GPA when I applied.

hey kelly, do you still go to twu? i don't remember hearing your name called in classes anymore.
No, unfortunately I am not attending classes this semester. To make a long story short, my father got very ill over the summer and needed someone to live with him and help him out. My brother wouldn't do it, so I was faced with a very difficult decision to make. I chose my father over my school. I miss TWU, but sometimes things happen you have no control over. I am currently jumping through the "hoops" to get into the University of Southern Maine. I have been told my chances are very good, so I am crossing my fingers and praying like mad....lol. I was accepted into the University of New England, but the way they are set up you have to get an ADN first. I only have 3 semesters left for a BSN and would rather take that route. By the way, who are you? Your sn gives me no clue. Obviously you are a Junior 2 student. Your age doesn't help me out either...lol. Anyway, good luck with the rest of the semester. I miss you guys!
