Anyone apply to Wayne State's NP program

Or know the average GPA for acceptance? I'm thinking of applying (always have planned on but getting married this fall) to the NP program at Wayne but I'm not sure my GPA is high enough. My nursing GPA from OU was 3.7 but I had other majors that I didn't do to well in (hence the change) so my overall GPA is a 3.4. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Graduate of Wayne State's MSN-ACNP program here (Dec 2003). Both your nursing and overall GPA meet the requirements for admission in all of the Master's degree programs at Wayne State. A GPA of at least 3.0 is the minimum requirement for regular admission, however, a GPA of 2.8 meets qualified admission consideration. The school has clear-cut admission requirements in their website. I also highly advice you to attend an informational meeting because I found them to be very helpful when I was preparing for graduate studies there.

See: http://www.nursing.wayne.edu/Academic%20Programs/Masters/index.html for admission requirements.

See: http://www.nursing.wayne.edu/Students/Prospective%20Students/Info%20Meetings.asp for information meeting schedules (no meeting for June yet per website).
