Anybody have any info on working at Morton or Landmark Medical Centers?

Would love to get some feedback from anyone who has experience working at Morton Medical in Taunton or Landmark Medical in RI. I am considering positions on their med/surg units.

I don't have personal experience but I know two people who work as nurses at Morton. One is in the ER and the other in Maternity. They both have been there for over 10 years and LOVE it.

Landmark is a Community Hospital that is in financial trouble. Mainly because RI doesn't have a free care pool like MA and part of poor financial management.

Its an okay place for a community hospital, I currently know a pt there. However the hospital is in State Receivership (In English that means the court has to approve all expenses, a Judge and or Lawyer are monitoring the books). This should not discourage you from applying there however. Just be aware that the hospital might not (it'll probably stay open) be closing in the next few years. It is an important hospital but unit RI changes the way it does free care places like landmark are in trouble.

Landmark provides Psych services for the area and has a Closed Cardiac Surgery Suite.

All I know about Morton Hospital is that their Pharmacy is run by a private company.
