Any volunteer opportunities?

Dear RNs,

Can I work in a hospital without any nursing qualifications, IF NOT are there any volunteer opportunities in Atlanta hospitals? I intend to study nursing. I was thinking volunteering would be a good way to start.

Yes, check on www.northside.com. They have a wonderful program. Good luck. Also check with the Red Cross.

You can also check with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It is an excellent opportunity. They will send you emails regarding volunteering opportunities in your area. It is a great way to work out when and where you can volunteer. All you have to do is fill out the application and I think send in a copy of your driver's license (although I am not positive about that). Good luck and God bless.
