Any UofA (Tucson) ABSN Grads Out There??

Published

I am applying for the Summer 2009 UofA ABSN start date, and am curious to hear about the experiences of recent grads who are now working for the ABSN sponsor hospitals.

I'll leave the responses generously open, but am curious about the following:

1) Why did the ABSN program increase the work obligation from 2 to 3 years?

2) Did you receive fair consideration for your first choice of sponsor hospital?

3) How satisfied are you with your current assignment?

4) How accommodating was your sponsor hospital in placing you in a desirable assignment?

5) Are you happy to honor your 2 year work agreement, or do you feel it's 2 years of indentured servitude before you can move on to a better place?

Any other comments welcome....

Thanks,

GF

I'm wondering the same things. I have also applied for Summer 2009. Now begins the waiting...

me too !!!! Just got the letter that I am in the University... waiting for hopefully an interview.. I read they are sending out letters this week..

FYI: UofA Nursing admissions plans to email ABSN applicants either this Friday or next week Monday with letters of invitation/rejection. This is ad verbatim from the SON as of Thursday 5pm. Keep your fingers crossed, and good luck.
