Any RN's working in the research field???

I am just wondering if any RN's out there could give me some info about their jobs involving research. I have heard of BSN/RN's working in the field of research, but would like to know more about it - like what are my options? I am working on my degree in nursing, love patients but also would like to consider my other love which is research. SG

I personally don't work in research but at a VA hospital, in Cardiology, and our section alone employs at least half a dozen RNs involved in research. Check it out (and I realize VA hospitals vary widely in their presentation and rendering of services to our deserving vets; our hospital is rated one of the highest in the nation.). Good luck! -- D
