Any recommendations on schools please?

I dont know about the university's but with the community colleges if you can get accepted into the program they evaluate you on your skills and then determine on where to place you in the RN program. The CC used to have bridge programs but the CC have gone to OCNE program and really dont bridge anymore

I know that at MT Hood CC if you are an LPN they put you first in line to get into the RN class, hope that helps

That's really good to know. In Texas, it doesn't matter really if you're already an LVN as far as I know. I would have to take all my pre-req's as it's been longer than 5 years and then apply like everyone else and hope my grades are good enough to get me in in a timely fashion.

I currently go to Walla Walla University - School of Nursing and their program is 2 years for bachelors and i think if you're a LPN they take some of your classes and you just take a few less classes, http://www.wallawalla.edu, look under nursing

I am at PCC and I know that once you are accepted into the program and you are an LPN that they evaluate your skills and place you accordingly. There is a student in my cohort that was a LPN that started 1 term later then the rest of us, but you still have to apply and go through the whole interview point process, and I they may not do that anymore because next year PCC is OCNE
