@xekie Follow coffeedreamgirl's advice. And yes you need a course descriptor when applying for QNC. Just go to your school and ask the registrar for one. If they ask you why you need it, show them that it is as per requested by QNC. You can print out the list or show them the letter from QNC stating that you need the course descriptor. I'm simply saying this as some schools will ask you why you need it. And yes I believe that your registration with them will still continue even after the the CAS program has ended and even after the National Registration. They will assess your credentials and suggest whether you're fit to be a division 1 or division 2 nurse and also tell you which path it is you should take i.e. conversion, post graduate bachelor course, bridging program or perhaps another type of competency assessment.

Good luck.

How was your exam last March 10? Did you think it was easy? I wish you two all the best with what life has to give. You two are in relationship or just friends?

@ Lithotomy.

Where did that question come from? I dunno if I should laugh or what with your question... We don't know each other personally and the first time I met him was at IDP after the exam. But afterwards we met and hung out with a bunch of other people from the forum.

The exam was difficult in my opinion. Nevertheless, I admit I did not review that much...

@chocokat79 Hi chocokat79. I'm sorry to hear that exam is hard for you, but you know, if exam easy for you then it's more bad because many fail exam that they think is easy. Wow, you guys from forum hung out together after your exam? You have many friends to cheer you up after hard exam. You should thank nice forumers go see you and give them hug. Ms. chocokat79, you think you can help me with my IELTS exam? Can you gave me suggestion on what to do and how to prepare for this because it has me very nervous already. Sometimes I cannot sleep because I am very afraid I will not make it. I am really wanting to start my application to Australia soon and maybe I can catch silverymeds and winterflakes from other thread and many others so I can be classmate also to them. I also pass application to Victoria soon I think even no ielts yet so I get starting with my application and also applying to schools like latrove and dickien. How about you chocokat79 you are not applying to Victoria or anywhere else? You only wait your exam? Ty for your reply to me chocokat79. I wish to be your friend like therooftap. Give us notice on your result. Byeee! Many thank you. :) :) :)

Take it one step at a time! For IELTS, the best way to prepare is to practice the English language. Listen to native English speakers, and have a conversation with them as well. It will be able to enhance your confidence and make you a more spontaneous speaker.

The writing part is where most people seem to have difficulty. Pay attention to spelling, punctuation and sentence and paragraph structure. Good luck!

Thank you very much you are a very kind person no wonder chocokat79 likes to hung out to u a lot! I was sudddenly put in a lithotomy position and then my jaw dropping also because of information you said. I will carry with me your spectacular advice and bring it everywhere I go. You look like a very good speaker and you seem to have great English speaking skills. I am very much enviously of your conversational powers. I wish I can be a spontaneous speaker also like you. But I am a bit confusion on what you said "take one step at a time" please explain connection of my step to my english? Sorry I am really  confusing here.

Please post more wonderful ideas therooftop so I can try write like you and have a very good spelling, punctuation and sentence and paragraph structure. You are very good. Maybe you are an teacher in English. Please post many many more. I think if I write like you I will pass my ielts. TY AGAIAN!!! :) You are goood person.

Does anyone here know where in Cebu is the written exam (part A challenge test) conducted? I really wanted to take the test in Manila but my mother insists that I take it in Cebu since it's nearer from Davao. :argue: I was really kind of hoping that I could get to know some of the forumers here, like Haoyin, if I take it in Manila instead. :D

Chokocat, what component in the exam did you find the most difficult? By faith, your results will be in your favor. In my case, I need to get 80% in all 4 components of the test. Otherwise, it would mean I failed and could no longer proceed with my application. I hope I have all the knowledge sufficient by the time I would sit for the test.

God bless to us all. :)

Lithotomy, "one step at a time" means to achieve your goals one by one. Since all dreams of becoming an Australian RN will require the IELTS, it will do you good to focus your attention in getting the required band score (before you let your mind wander elsewhere.) As for me, watching news clips from BBC, and UK or Australian shows (plenty available through the net) can actually help attenuate your ears to their accent. Of course you'd have to couple that with IELTS review materials if you won't be availing the services of review centers. Beware of those review centers who will only mark your practice writings with a check mark, a very good, and other cliche remarks. For me, the writing component is the trickiest of all, since no one can tell what kind of task you will be required to answer. Which is why you need a review material or a review center that can provide you with proper techniques and skills to help you sit for the exam.

God Bless!
