gemini star,

My uncle called QNC today. He said they confirmed receiving my letter. They would send me a referral letter for CAS today. I think I'm really gonna sit for the last written test this April.

How was your exam last March 10? Did you think it was easy? I wish you two all the best with what life has to give. You two are in relationship or just friends? Anyway, good luck. When result? I am very nervous with my coming IELTS exam if you only know how my heart is pounding. I have dysrhythmia already... If I cannot control this I might have infarction soon. I really wish I can get all 7 in ielts. Byeeee! Take care of each other especially in Australia.

just got my assessment letter yesterday. i have submitted my application dec 18 2009, received the acknowdlegement letter January. and in 3 mos my assessment letter arrived.

however, i have to submit more documents pertinent to my application.

a) evidence of fit and competent practice within the last five years

- i have mailed my certificate as a nurse trainee along with my application packet but they specifically indicated in my assessment letter that the certificate of training I have submitted is not the correct documentation

**what should i do?

**that is the only certificate I have after graduating

**should I write them instead stating that I have only practiced as a nurse trainee and was not employed after graduation?

b) verification/letter of good standing of current registration

-this could be requested in PRC, right?

c) course descriptors

-it is stated that the transcripts of my nursing course is not sufficient to determine whether my course is comparable with a course completed in queensland leading to registration or enrolment

**I am not a second courser, but they are requesting that I obtain course descriptors too from the previous university I have attended

**Is this similar to the one requested during NCLEX application?

**should I only request from my previous university course descriptors of subjects that were only credited in my nursing degree?

please help. i need information on how to acquire appropriate documents for it is also stated that I have to submit all documents before may or else my application for registration will lapse

i believe all applicants, like me, who are unable to take the last CAS exam this April would still be qualified for whatever programs they are to offer in July.

hope everything would be alright!

God bless to us all!

xekie,

Review back the checklist for QNC application. Everything is there. All you have to do is to follow. They have specifically outlined there the format that you need to follow. But I suggest that you go to PRC first and make a request of the verification of your current registration (state board verification) to be sent directly to QNC from PRC. It would take about 2 months for the verification to be sent to QNC. The request form can be downloaded at the QNC website. I think it is included in the QNC1 form. Next, go to your school registrar and show the details (specified in the checklist) that you need for them to comply as required by QNC. Then finally, go to the hospital where you had your clinical training and ask one of your supervisors (senior nurse/head nurse) to make a reference on your behalf.

As I've said, all these are specifically shown in the checklist. It is intentionally provided to serve as a guide for the applicants.

I hope this would be a bit of a help to you.
