Any Options? What's the best thing to do?

Hi everyone,

I need a little help...I'm not sure whether to transfer out from my four year CUNY college, Hunter that is and start from scratch to a two year college such as queenborough, bmcc, etc. I didn't get into the program at Hunter and I also just took the NET exam for Adelphi University...I know you can take the Net twice per semester however I need other back up options? What should I do? I basically finished all my pre reqs (ANP1, ANP2 (taking it again to improve my grade), Micro) but I am just frustrated at the fact that I know two year colleges are looking at As for their sciences which means taking them all over again if I were to transfer...help! :uhoh21:

How bad are your grades in ANP I and II?

Its very competitive, but its possible. Hello?! The New York GIANTS won the Superbowl. Thats what I told my fiance, I said if the NYG can win the superbowl I can get into NS. I did.

We can all give you advice, but just keep in mind thats its a waiting process. It wont happen overnight. If it were up to me I would have an RN behind my name 5 years ago. Its finally happening now, but be patient grasshoppa. Good luck.

many have had this same issue with CUNY. All those other schools you listed are also tough to get into but you can certainly try to take over your science courses and try to get into one of those schools. On the other hand I know many who faced similar issue and have gone to private schools such as Pace, LIU etc... If you can swing their tuition you may want to consider them. Keep in mind CUNY has long wait list for most of their programs so if you wish to still get into one of their programs I suggest you start retaking your science courses ASAP. GOOD LUCK! youll make it!

Just wanted to add in a little correction that the CUNYs don't have a waitlist. If you apply in one semester and you don't get in, they don't hold your application over till the next semester. You have to reapply again.
