Any one waiting for Golden West fall 2007 letter?

Hi. I just want to know who else is waiting for GW. It is my last chance for '07 since I already got rejected from 2 other schools. I'm so stressed, just wanted to ventilate. Good luck to all!!!

Hello, my friend and I are still waiting from Goldenwest College. They said that they will send out acceptance letters by Memorial Day.

Thanks for the goldenwest info. I too have been checking the mail like crazy. This is my third attempt and unlike the first two times, I only received a letter confirming eligbility; however, this time I also got a second letter giving me a to do list such as preparing for child care, applying for financial aid and cutting back work hours to smoothen the transition in the event that I get in. Hmn...can't help but to wonder if they've already made their selections back some time ago and is simply going through the formalities. Well anyways, at least its not "if" we get in the program, but "when" which leaves us with some time to get other things accomplished. Good luck everyone.

Brightmoon they didn't send you that letter in you'r previous applications? That one,talking about child care and finantial aid made me think the same thing. But who knows. For what I know we all got the same letters. Lets hope the four of us in this thread get in soon, Fall 07. Let us know when you know something, I will do the same. Good luck.

I got my rejection letter and my friend got his alternate list letter last week. He got a call today saying he's in for fall 07. Call them again and ask.

Thanks for the reply maireez. I will definately call them tomorrow. If I don't get in this time then for sure the next time being that it will be my fourth time applying. No luck from the other colleges either. Oh well...I suppose I'll take statistic in the fall so I'll be ready to transfer to a university when the time comes.

Thanks for the reply Veronica. I called the office today and my name wasn't on the list. In regards to getting in after the 4th application, she said there is no guaranteed for anything even if we've applied 5 times. How discouraging! I started off as an acct major and was 3 classes away from trasnferring to csulb when I decided to pursue nursing. At this rate, I could of gotten my acct degree by now. But then again how happy would I be with my career. So I'll hang in there for another semester. Maybe you should consider taking classes towards your bachelors as I am. And of course, congrats to those who made it in.

Hello everyone.. Try applying at LBCC. I applied at Goldenwest and LBCC. I got in at LBCC, rejected at Goldenwest.I think Goldenwest change their appilcation process( doing lottery now). LBCC accept students based on GPA and theya re accepting around 95 students.

What about Spring 2008 for Golden West College? Does anyone know from past experience when in December I should receive the acceptance letter?

They are the only program that sends their letters out at the last possible date. I have already been denied from Long Beach and have already applied for Fall of 2008 at Long Beach, and I still don't know what the hell is going on with Golden West. Does anyone else feel my pain?
