Any nurses who are Brookhaven grads?

Hey y'all, I was wondering if anyone on here is a nurse who graduated from Brookhaven? If you are, how did you feel about the program? What are the facilities like? I'm deciding between a BSN at Baylor (I already have another degree but would be doing their traditional 2-year program) and an ADN at Brookhaven. I can't really afford to go to Baylor but I toured it recently and was really impressed with the school! Anywho, can y'all tell me what your experience at Brookhaven was like? I want to make sure I am making an informed decision (and I've gotta make one soon :lol2:) Thanks!!

Hi I have only applied to Brookhaven. If you want to work at Baylor, I have heard they no longer hire ADN RNs. They only hire BSNs, but that is just what I heard. If you go to Brookhaven, they have an agreeement with Texas Tech - so you could easily slide into the RN-BSN program online. Brookhaven is tons cheaper! It would be nice to quickly get the RN out of the way and work on the other stuff online.

Yep that's my thinking, plus I was worried about Baylor not helping me out with financial aid since I already have a degree, so I would hate to go through all that trouble and have it not work out because of money. I'm not married to Baylor so them not hiring ADNs isn't a big deal for me, I'm sure other hospitals will! With Brookhaven though I am getting worried about being able to get in... I haven't taken the HESI yet so hopefully I'll be able to ace it and take some support courses to apply for Fall 2012. Just seems so far away, it's hard for me to stay on track!
