Are the classes completed in the sequence that is posted on their website? Where are their clinical sites? How many cohorts have graduated?
Any students attending this Fall?

I believe the classes are completely in that sequence. They have open houses that you can go to where they will answer all of those questions.

PBnJ.....
I was accepted to NW for this fall but turned it down for another school however I can answer some of your questions.
No class has graduated yet, the first class is set to graduated next year (may/june) time.
Yes, the classes are taken in the sequence they have posted. Most have pre-reqs before you can move on to the next.
They didn't tell me where all the clinical sites are but they did say Little Company of Mary on the South side is their main hospital site. And I believe multiple nursing homes in the Bridgeview area.
hope this helps.
@dsignrgrl: Thanks for the info! :)
@SMOKEY2112: Have you decided on a nursing program?

Welp... I got into Ambria... I much rather go somewhere closer to home.. but at least I did get in there..I applied to Northwestern College..and I'm waiting to hear...if I get in..which I really hope I do... that's where I'm going... I don't know if I will though... have you applied anywhere hon?
Northwestern is the only program I sent my application to in Chicago. I called them 2 weeks after submitting it and they offered me a spot for this Fall. How long ago did you submit yours? I hope you get in, too!
I just submitted mine about a week and a half ago. How long ago did you submit yours? I was waiting FOREVER for my letter of recommendation...like since the middle of May! I hope I get in too! FYI just so you know...the school isn't in Chicago..it's actually in a burb called Bridgeview. I'll let you know when I find out. I hope I get in...but I dunno..
I mailed it three and a half weeks ago. I called on the 7th and they told me that they would be sending me the acceptance letter and the admission packet. I received them both last Monday.
That's cool! You didn't have to wait long at all. I emailed the admissions person today and she said that I should hear something by the end of the week. Do you know how many spots were available when you applied? I'm not sure if I'll get it or not..but I hope so.
What classes do you have finished so far that you are transfering in?

I was told that they accepted 20 and there are 40 accepted for each cohort. The classes I'm transferring are A&P, Microbiology, Psychology, and Sociology. Some classes didn't transfer because I took them more than 5 years ago.
So when you had applied or whenever they told you they had excepted 20...it was 10 more than the end of May.. I think...so you applied the end of June...so I'll assume that they have definitely less than 10 seats available.. I'm gonna guess around 5 or so.
Did you take both API and APII..I still have to take APII and I haven't taken Micro yet...so the first semester will you just have that fundamentals class I think it was? Man, I wish I would just find out already...it's starting to drive me a little nuts... and that ain't pretty!

Yeah, I took both. I'm taking fundamentals and math. I'm not looking forward to taking another math class.
