I want to learn all of the important medications.

Any list of important meds that will most likely be on the NCLEX?

I remember seeing meds I'd never heard of in the NCLEX. Know the common name endings (ex: olol-beta blocker) and do hundreds of practice questions, especially those awful choose all that apply ones. I got multiple books from the library and did as many as possible. Passed the first try.

I am not great at memorizing long med names :/ any site that shows the med endings? for example "olol's" etc..?

Try the micromedex app. They have TONS of drugs!

according to my experience i was good in pharma in my previous attempts ,i think u will be fine in nclex if u do pharma by classifications....

Here is an old thread with some good info. https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/easy-way-remember-403349.html

They gave me a sheet when I was in nursing schools so that's what I used. There are probably plenty of sites if you google something like memorize drug class name endings.

one of my nursing instructors when we did pharm review in our last semster said two biggest ones to remember is if is talking about interactions and asprin or lasix are an option, it is usually the answer. just saying. I have yet to see a question in review test or books that that was wrong on (sure there are but havent seen it)
