I am a looking for some information on Concordia University Texas! Is it a scam or a good program? I don't have the most competitive GPA 3.5 and nursing schools in California are ridiculous. Thinking about applying here and would love some feedback!

Hi! I have two friends who are in Concordia University in Texas, one graduated (now working) and the other one is currently in the program. I heard the program will get you licensed because they had a NCLEX pass rate of 100%. I wouldn't say it is a scam, but I can't say for sure it's a good program. All I can tell you is that you will be able to get licensed and that should be the most important for nursing schools(since we're spending so much money). I have also tried applying to CSUs for nursing but no luck.
Also, I do believe you need to work with an admission counselor for the application. Good luck to you! ?

RUN! Don’t waste your time. I’m currently in the program and I hate it with a passion. I’m finishing my J1 semester and transferring. It's way to expensive. The instructors are rude and not helpful. I don’t feel like the instructors they really don’t you to pass. They are just out to make money.
They make the problem extremely harder than what it needs to be and I am headed on my way out of here LOL. Don’t waste your time go so where else.
Lastly it’s a weed out program.

@Futurenurseso can you really transfer from the nursing program at Concordia? My girlfriend currently attends there now, and she wants to take the credits she has earned and transfer, but she has told me that if she transfers Concordia won't let her take her credits so she would have to start her nursing school journey from the beginning. Is this the case? Would love to know more about your experience. Because I am trying to get her out of that toxic *** school.

I'd be glad to tell you more about that horrible place. What's your email?

Hello, Futurenurseso, I read your posting about Concordia University. I also went to a school in Texas and it was really terrible. I dropped out of the program and searching a new school to start. I figured you got transferred to a different school and it is way better. Would you mind sharing what program/school are you in?
