Ok here goes, im starting class oct 1, will be done with the cna class by mid november. I have never been a great student and even if I know the material I tend to choke up on some tests. How would you say the IL test was?? I have a great fear of not succeeding. I have all these career ideas in mind and they all rely on this first step of becoming a cna.

PLEASE HELP:)

thanx

Illinois test is the same as what I have seen commented on through the years for other states. That is, if you go to class, do your homework, and you're doing ok in class on the book side, then the state exam is nothing. Half of it is common sense. Some of the questions are so simple and obvious, they're humorous.

There were questions such as:

When you see a call light on for a resident you:

1) Answer the call light as soon as possible

2) Ignore it

3) Go to the residents room and holler at them for turning the call light on

4) Complain to the DON that there are too many call lights

Don't sweat the exam at all if you get through the non-clinical part of the CNA class.
